Amsterdam-based DJ, producer, and guitarist Ginton is redefining electronic music through his unique fusion of live instrumentation and cutting-edge production. Known for blending signature guitar riffs with globally inspired rhythms and melodic electronic sounds, Ginton has carved out a distinct identity that bridges the worlds of organic musicianship and modern dance music.
His musical journey began at just eight years old with piano and guitar, eventually leading him to study Jazz Guitar at the Conservatorium van Rotterdam. Deeply influenced by legendary artists such as Santana and Jimi Hendrix, Ginton developed a sound that combines technical artistry with emotional depth and club-driven energy.
Beyond his solo work, Ginton has collaborated and produced for some of the biggest names in music, including Drake and Gordo. He notably contributed to Drake’s Billboard-charting album Honestly, Nevermind on the track “Tie That Binds,” and co-produced Gordo’s Candid Zone, which reached #3 on Billboard’s Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
With acclaimed releases and collaborations alongside artists such as MoBlack, Francis Mercier, and Maz, Ginton continues to push boundaries within the global electronic scene. Expanding his creative vision even further, he also founded Woody Trees - a label imprint dedicated to genre-defying music and forward-thinking artistic expression.
